For the love of chocolate
(and easy bakes)
While we are in the height of citrus season, chocolate season is a year-round obsession over here. Whether we’re going ham on cakes or simple no-bake treats, can you ever have enough chocolate?
No.
Just like I will likely never make homemade plain croissants. Cause me + a 3-day time commitment does require chocolate to be inside. Out of curiosity, do you call them…
GOLDEN GOODIES
So we can collectively agree, this Argentinian chocotorta recipe is RIDIC. As in, so good you could convince me this was sold at a fine-dining restaurant (but it’s not, and is in fact made at home in an easy, no-bake version).
Also, I can’t believe we’re already at #44 of this series :( (even though I did kick it off in October 2024, so… should I be surprised?)
My January small batch series needed to feature a snack. As someone whose nightly snack and go-to airport snack is popcorn, this Snickers popcorn was a no-brainer.
Coated with nougat, caramel, and loads of chocolate, it’s a crunchy, salty, sweet snack made in heaven (aka your kitchen).
I think we all know by now how much I love an Oreo dessert. I mean… do I sometimes buy the off-brand at Aldi’s? Shhhhh
For the finale of this small batch series, I knew I needed to go big, well, height-wise cause that frosting deserves a moment. You just can’t beat a frosted chocolate Oreo cookie!
I hope you’re staying warm and cozying up with a batch of bakes!
Love,
Hannah
